Roger L .Easton Genius in Satellite telemetry and timing has finally been inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Easton helped develop the MINITRACK the worlds first satellite tacking system, which then turned in to TIMATION. The TIMATION (time navagation) was used to launch 4 experimental satellite tracking system in the 1960′s and 1970′s. The last satellite launched during TIMATION was the first satellite to transmit GPS signals back to us. The technology Easton implemented in his GPS satellites, are still used today. It also helped verify Einsteins theory of relativity. Eaton did eventually retired from the official lab, but he did find time to run for Governor in 1986
“His leap in vision led to the United States’ first satellite tracking network and patent of synchronized timing of spacecraft which became the fundamental basis for GPS.” – Someone…
Now if they let the guy who created the Snuggie in, thats it for that place. Boom
